Our school values diversity and strives to create a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel welcome and supported. Every student has unique talents and strengths, and we work to help each student reach their full potential. We offer a wide range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and sports to enrich our students’ educational experience. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in higher education and life beyond the classroom.

Niá:wen for considering our school.

We look forward to working with you and your child(ren) to achieve their educational goals.

Indian Way School is a Peanut Free School

Several students at our school have a potentially life-threatening allergy (anaphylaxis) to foods, predominantly peanuts and tree nuts. This includes any food with peanuts or peanut oil or nuts (like cashews or pistachios) or traces of peanuts or nuts.

All staff have been informed of this situation and instructed in the correct procedures regarding anaphylactic shock.

We feel the best way to reduce the risk of accidental exposure to these students is to respectfully ask for the cooperation of the parents/guardians within the school community to avoid sending peanut butter or products with peanuts or tree nuts listed in the ingredients or may have come into contact with. Reading the ingredient list each time a new item goes into their lunch is a positive practice. We all take advantage of bulk foods for their convenience; however, these items have no controls in place to control the allergen contact.

We are committed to making the school a safe environment for all students, and your cooperation is vital in achieving this goal.

Anyone wishing further information may contact the school.
