Let's Talk Nutrition
A Guide to Healthy Eating
Good morning, students! Did you know eating healthy foods can help you have a great day at school? It’s true! When you eat nutritious foods, you give your body the energy it needs to learn and play.
Before school, try to eat a healthy breakfast. You can have oatmeal with fruit, eggs with whole wheat toast, or a smoothie with yogurt and berries. These foods will give you the energy to focus in class and stay alert.
During school, it’s important to bring healthy snacks and lunches. Pack carrot sticks, apple slices, or whole-grain crackers with cheese. For lunch, try a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread with some cherry tomatoes and a piece of fruit. Avoid sugary drinks and snacks, making you feel tired and sluggish.
Remember, eating healthy foods is important for your health and well-being. So, let’s all try to eat nutritious foods before and during school to help us have a fantastic day!
