Welcome to Indian Way School’s library! Our librarian, Maerrin Dionne, welcomes you to explore our growing library collection and read to your heart’s content. The library is an important part of any school – it stores knowledge and stories galore. Our library offers students and staff access to over 1,500 books across our bookshelves, with even more books added weekly.
.
The Library system that we use is called “LibraryThing.” It is an online library service that can do the following:
- It is an automated library. Users can search an online catalog to choose and borrow books from the Indian Way School Library.
- The library catalog is not confined to the library walls. Users can access it from anywhere, even from their mobile phones, giving them the power to explore the library’s collection at their convenience.
- LibraryThing can come up with suggestions for what to read next.
Our librarian is currently cataloging new books of all genres and reading levels, thanks to additions from bookstores and Capstone Publishing!

“Every book has a home, so it is placed where we took it from. If we do not do that, the book will get lost, and we may have difficulty finding it again.”
